Job Summary
The Manager, Agile Delivery will lead a team of 6-8 Scrum Masters, driving agile delivery excellence across Medline's IT and business portfolios. This role is responsible for scaling agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring consistent delivery of value through agile methodologies. Reporting to the Senior Manager of the PMO, this leader will play a critical role in aligning agile teams with strategic priorities, optimizing team performance, and enhancing agile maturity across the organization.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Agile Delivery Leadership: Oversight of agile teams across multiple portfolios, ensuring alignment with business goals, effective sprint execution, and continuous delivery of value.
- Agile Governance & Standards: Ownership of agile frameworks, coaching practices, agile metrics, and delivery standards to ensure consistency and transparency.
- Scrum Master Development: Coaching, mentoring, and developing Scrum Masters to elevate agile capabilities and team effectiveness.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$115,440.00 - $173,160.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage a team of 6-8 Scrum Masters supporting agile teams across IT and business units.
- Develop and implement agile delivery strategies, frameworks, and best practices tailored to Medline's environment.
- Partner with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and Business Leaders to ensure backlog health, sprint planning, and delivery alignment.
- Drive agile maturity through coaching, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and dependency management across agile teams and portfolios.
- Monitor and report on agile metrics (velocity, burndown, team health, etc.) to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support organizational change initiatives, including transitions from waterfall to agile delivery models.
- Lead agile ceremonies and workshops to reinforce agile principles and foster team engagement.
- Collaborate with PMO leadership to align agile practices with broader portfolio governance and resource planning.
- Participate in strategic planning and capacity management to ensure agile teams are resourced effectively.
- Champion a culture of transparency, accountability, and customer-centric delivery.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor's Degree
Work Experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT project delivery, with 5+ years in agile environments.
- 3+ years of experience managing Scrum Masters or agile delivery teams
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Proven success in scaling agile practices across large, complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and agile transformation strategies.
- Experience coaching teams and individuals in agile principles and practices.
- Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change and influence without authority.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a passion for team development.
- Ability to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills across all organizational levels.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and evolving delivery models.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
