Job Title: Senior Electrical Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Employment Type: Contract (Full-Time Onsite)
Role Overview
BEPC is seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Technician to support a key client s Electronic Fabrication (eFab) group. This role involves hands-on build, fabrication, and repair of complex test equipment and avionics products. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering teams, bringing deep technical acumen in cable harnessing, circuit card assembly, and control systems to a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, modify, and repair:
    • Cable harnesses and electrical panels
    • Circuit card assemblies (CCAs), including micro-electronics
    • Break-out boxes and test adapters
    • Power controllers and EMI fixtures
    • Full-up test stations, racks, and sub-assemblies
  • Interpret and work from electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints
  • Perform high-precision tasks such as soldering, crimping, and wiring
  • Support troubleshooting and repair of red-label avionics products
  • Collaborate with engineering to improve builds and resolve technical challenges
  • Ensure builds meet IPC standards and quality control requirements
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of technician experience in electronics fabrication and repair
  • Extensive hands-on experience with test equipment build and modification
  • Proficient in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Skilled with tools such as soldering irons, crimping tools, continuity testers, and voltmeters
  • Familiarity with IPC standards; IPC certification preferred
  • SAP experience and general computer proficiency required
Contract Details
  • Pay Rate: $45/hour
  • Schedule: Day shift (8:00 AM 5:00 PM); flexible 8-hour workday
  • Duration: 9-month contract with potential for conversion to full-time
  • Location: Onsite in Phoenix, Arizona
  • Interview Process: Initial prescreen via Microsoft Teams, followed by onsite technical interview with hiring manager
