Title: Paint Booth Cleaner

Description:

Responsibilities:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for working in general maintenance of the spray booth and clean-up of the spray room areas each day.
Use industrial cleaners to clean up spray booth and industrial laboratory ovens.
Change/replace various filters throughout spray booths.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules.
Good customer service attitude.
Using solvents and manual scraping/chipping to clean walls, hoses, windows, grates, lights.
Vacuums and wipes interior and exterior of equipment
Cleans spray and oven room floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
Performs other specialized paint booth cleaning jobs as required.
Locks out/tags out equipment for safe entry into energized areas of the paint booth.
Keep track of filter inventory.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE:
Level 3: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals:
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence:
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and may require repetitive use of the hands and arms.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
