Job Title: Android Developer
Client is looking for only EX Walmart s.
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, backend engineers) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure applications meet performance, quality, and responsiveness standards.
- Work with APIs and third-party libraries to integrate features.
- Identify and fix bugs, and improve application performance.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 7 years of experience in Android development.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
- Strong understanding of the Android SDK and Android app lifecycle.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and networking.
- Knowledge of Android UI design principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have (Optional)
- Experience with MVVM or MVP architecture.
- Exposure to Android testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso).
- Knowledge of Google Play Store deployment and release process.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
