Responsibilities:

MTSI is seeking a Mission Planning and Debrief System SME with a TS/SCI clearance to provide support to a Government Office at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. The subject matter expert's primary focus will be to provide advice and assistance to leadership in creation of innovative solutions for mission planning and mission debrief systems.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

Provide advice and assistance to leadership in the areas of mission systems program tradeoff analysis, program road map creation including technology insertion, platform integration, and support planning.
Provide analytical expertise to the Systems Management Office for "kill chain" analysis, concept and requirements generation, and test and tactics development planning to inform requirements for information flow to and from Mission Planning System.
Use technical experience, education, resources, and creativity to analyze a broad spectrum of technologies for military applications for mission planning and debrief system for both operations and maintenance.
Assist in development of advanced, automated, real-time complex problem-solving solutions for combat aircraft.
Regularly interface with Air Force Major Commands, other DoD Services and Government organizations, Federally Funded Research & Development Centers and Industry when performing duties.

Qualifications:

5 years of experience acquisition in USAF disciplines including requirements analysis and implementation, risk management, technology insertion, acquisition strategy and mission systems integration.
5 years of experience with working with Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) and JMPS Open Mission Systems, air navigation, fuel management, military aircraft combat mission planning, special use airspace use and management, and the key factors in aircraft survivability for fighter aircraft.
Possess an in-depth understanding of the key factors in aircraft survivability and combat mission planning to ensure customer objectives are met by finding both time-critical and long-term solutions to challenging and unconventional problems.
A strong understanding of Red/Blue/Gray strategic and tactical systems and their associated armaments.
Ability to participate on an agile software development team designing and building advanced, state-of-the-art, aircraft mission planning applications and services used in modern mission planning systems.
Strong communication skills - written and verbal
Good analytical and planning skills.
Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance. Duties will require unescorted entry and work within classified SAP and SCI facilities.
Must have 36 months or more of experience in a SAP environment within the last 6 years
