Sr. Windows Systems Administrator
We are seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to join our Environment Management Group. This role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, monitoring, supporting, and engineering solutions across OS, middleware, applications, and databases in pre-production environments.
The ideal candidate will bring strong automation skills (PowerShell a must), hands-on experience with Bitbucket, Artifactory, GitLab, and a proven background in managing enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, smoke test, and validate new code releases; perform backups and restore environments when rollbacks are required.
- Manage access to test environments following the principle of least privilege.
- Provide weekly project status updates and performance improvement recommendations.
- Monitor tickets, document support provided, and deliver solutions and improvements.
- Collaborate with and assist other Systems Administrators as needed.
- Build, configure, and document new environments and their dependencies.
- Maintain standard documentation for policies, procedures, and practices.
- Support QA and Development teams with clear communication and customer-focused service.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in IT or equivalent professional experience.
- Expertise in Windows Server (2003 2022), SQL Clustering, PowerShell automation, IIS, Active Directory, DNS, VLANs, and Netscalers.
- Prior expereince with Google Cloud Platform is required.
- Knowledge of SQL queries, Oracle connections, and VMware.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information.
- Collaborative, approachable, and able to build strong relationships across teams.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
- Willingness to work off-hours and travel occasionally as required.
