Job Overview
The ServiceNow Application Developer I is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, focusing on ITSM Pro and HRSD Enterprise applications. This includes designing, coding, troubleshooting, and maintaining applications. The Application developer will do some project management and end-user support as required.

Required:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, computer engineering or programming preferred or relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including ITSM Pro and HRSD Enterprise modules.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of different programming languages, such JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proven expertise in configuring and customizing ServiceNow workflows, forms, and dashboards.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, including Flow Designer, Service Catalog, and Application Development.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or ServiceNow Agile Development.
  • Understanding of ITIL v3/v4 frameworks (certification preferred).
  • Working knowledge of database systems.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, or similar).

Preferred

  • Familiarity with healthcare industry processes and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.

Certifications And Licenses Required

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is preferred.
  • Certified Implementation Specialist IT Service Management is preferred.
