The Multi-domain Solutions Division (MDS) within the Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a skilled Network Administrator, Junior to join a new cyber security program and play a key role in supporting government-critical systems. You will be part of a program that oversees development, integration, delivery, and operations and maintenance of IT managed security services, which encompasses support to monitor the cybersecurity threat and security posture situational awareness for the enterprise. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award!

What you'll be doing:
- Assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of our organization's network infrastructure.
- Apply eagerness to develop networking skills while working with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and cloud-based services.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting for network connectivity issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Support VPN, VoIP, and remote access solutions for employees and remote offices.
- Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and system alerts, assisting with issue resolution.
- Help maintain firewall rules, access controls, and network security settings.
- Apply software updates, patches, and configurations to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Assist with basic security monitoring, identifying and reporting potential threats.
- Support cloud-based network configurations (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Networks, Google Cloud networking).
- Help configure and maintain Wi-Fi networks, troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Maintain network diagrams, configuration records, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay up to date with networking best practices and emerging technologies.
- Assist in upgrading and expanding the network infrastructure under supervision.
What does Leidos need from me?
- Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of prior relevant experience or Master's with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Favorable if you have:
- CompTIA Network+ (Highly Recommended).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
