Senior Organizational Change Management Lead

Job Title: Senior Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead
Location: Washington, D.C. (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months contract

Overview:
We are seeking a Senior OCM Lead to drive enterprise-wide transformation and organizational maturity. This role requires deep expertise in change management methodologies (ADKAR, Kotter) and the ability to integrate change across Agile (SAFe) and Waterfall environments. You will design, implement, and measure change strategies, build stakeholder engagement, and ensure successful adoption of critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and execution of holistic change management strategies for large-scale transformation projects.
• Manage change delivery in Agile/SAFe and Waterfall project environments.
• Conduct impact and stakeholder assessments, manage resistance, and drive user adoption.
• Develop and deliver executive-level communication and engagement plans.
• Create enablement programs (onboarding, mentoring, buddy programs) to support adoption.
• Establish and mature an OCM Community of Practice.
• Facilitate engagement activities (workshops, webinars, Lean Coffee, book clubs, podcasts).
• Measure adoption with ADKAR surveys, KPIs, and reporting dashboards.
• Use MS Office, SharePoint, Teams, JIRA, Confluence, Mural/FigJam for OCM deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide organizational change initiatives.
• Expertise in OCM methodologies (Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in Agile/SAFe environments with JIRA and Confluence.
• OCM certification (Prosci, Kotter, or equivalent).
• Strong facilitation, servant leadership, and stakeholder influence skills (including C-suite).
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred:

• SAFe certification (Agilist, Practitioner, RTE, Coach).
• Prior consulting or client experience in the DC/MD/VA region.
• Background in continuous process improvement.
