This team is responsible for defining and implementing Siri experiences for anything Audio related across all Apple services and device platforms.

Description You will primarily be responsible for implementing features for the Siri Audio user experience. You will make Siri the best way to play, discover, and interact with the Audio content that users love. You will collaborate with Apple's design team to build exceptional user-facing features for Music, Podcasts and Books. This is a broad-range task; to succeed in this role, you must be a strong programmer and a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, working across teams and organizations. You love building elegant voice and visual experiences in collaboration with Apple design teams pursuing impossible problems. You enjoy learning new technologies and creating life-changing applications. You possess strong skills in client and server software design and programming. Performance analysis and tuning will also be a significant responsibility in your job, building on a deep understanding of common data structures, algorithms, and their performance implications. You'll ship code that runs on the devices you use every day and powers products that are important to the lives of millions of users.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in iOS or macOS development and familiarity with Swift.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in a collaborative team environment
  • Knowledge of modern object-oriented architecture and design
  • Passionate about creating great customer experiences

Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise delivering customer facing user interfaces
  • Expert in performance and optimization of on-device software
  • Experience working in large codebases and distributed process architectures
  • Experience working with Java programming language

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
