Internal Auditor - Part Time opportunity (Manufacturing Industry)

Job Title: Internal Auditor (Part-Time Opportunity) - 20hrs/week

Job Description:

• Industry: Manufacturing experience preferred

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of recent internal/external audit or related experience
• Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
• Experience in operational and/or financial auditing or risk management
• Knowledge of risks and controls
• Ability to design and test SOX and operational controls (including drafting procedures, risks, and document requests prior to testing).
• AuditBoard experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Execute engagement planning activities for a full range of complex internal audits and participate in special projects and ongoing department-wide initiatives
• Preform a full range of testing activities in support of internal audits; document test procedures and results in alignment with defined standards and methodologies, identify missing, inadequately designed and ineffective controls
• Complete fact checking process with auditee and prepare or supervise the preparation of audit workpapers, ensuring accuracy and clarity
