Job Details
This person must have at least four years of commercial glazing experience on curtain wall, interior glass or any type of commercial glass experience. Must commute to Hillside Illinois, five days a week ideally has a bachelors degree can pay up to 150 K a year.
Responsibilities Include
- Full project lifecycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
- Manage all aspects of multiple steel projects.
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
- Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risk and issues, communicating across leadership.
- Support formal/informal schedules to manage the engagement contract
- Develop and manage all aspects of project management and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risk and issues.
- Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
- Proven success in providing on site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
- Establish practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
Qualifications
- 5 or more years' experience in this or a similar areas of the construction industry
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills within a team environment
- Highly organized and efficient
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass a 7-year criminal history including misdemeanors and felonies
- Unable to consider applicants on probation, parole, or diversion program.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
