Job Details

Project Manager with certified PMP, PMI, PAL and 2+ years of State of CA Experience- Remote

Seven (7) years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible experience
applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools.

At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a senior PM of one or more large or complex IT projects.

Seven (7) of experience performing as an Senior Project Manager for large-
scale IT projects utilizing a variety of Project Management disciplines,
including the following
a) Risk and Issue Management;
b) Change Control;
c) Communication and Change Management;
d) Quality Assurance;
e) Contract Management;
f) Financial Analysis;
g) Project Scheduling;
h) Transition plans and/or implementation requirements;
i) Implementing best practice solutions;
j) Providing ongoing support as required;

And leading and working within cross-functional teams that include business
subject matter experts (SMEs), architects, developers, and testers.

Five (5) years facilitating, collaborating, and negotiating with all levels of
stakeholders, up to, and including executive level decision makers.
Three (3) years experience following system development lifecycles
(SDLCs) in order to identify, evaluate, and implement business or technical
solutions.

Three (3) years of experience in writing project management documentation
such as: project management plans, communication plans, schedules,
templates, procedures and guidelines.

Two (2) years of hands-on, direct experience in leading the development of
State of California (government) IT project approval documentation for
feasibility study reports (FSRs) and project approval lifecycle (PAL)
documents as specified in the Statewide Information Management Manual
19B (SIMM 19B) ( and California Project
Management Framework, SIMM 17 (CA-PMF,

Mandatory - Possess a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
