About the Role:
We are seeking candidates with 3–5 years of experience in Linux and Windows Server Administration who will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise application services across clustered environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and WebSphere Application Server (WAS), as well as a good understanding of server security, patching, and scripting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Linux and Microsoft Windows server environments to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Configure, deploy, and manage WebSphere Application Server (WAS 8.* and higher) instances in clustered environments.
- Configure and test JDBC connections across multiple application servers.
- Perform server certificate installation, renewal, and updates.
- Schedule and execute regular server security patches and system updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server and application-level issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain basic Linux shell scripts for automation and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and maintenance activities.
- (Optional/Nice to Have) Support and administer Actuate eReport services.
Technical Skills:
- Linux: P2 – Intermediate (3–5 years)
- Microsoft Windows Server Administration: P2 – Intermediate (3–5 years)
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in Linux and Windows Server Administration.
- 2+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8 and higher).
- 2+ years of experience in WebSphere Application Server (WAS 8.* and higher) administration.
- Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting clustered server environments.
- Experience managing JDBC connections and handling server certificates.
- Knowledge of applying and managing scheduled server security patches.
- Familiarity with Linux shell scripting for automation and maintenance tasks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Nice to have: experience with Actuate eReport services.
