Role Summary:
Looking for someone to oversee the migration from Windows 10 to 11 for 60,000 users. They are in the process of doing this right now and are almost done with the voluntary part, where people get prompted, and they upgrade themselves. That was about 30,000 desktops. The next step will be the harder part, where they will need to create a process to get the other 30,000 desktops upgraded to Windows 11.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Windows Global Product Lead (GPL) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of MS Windows IT infrastructure, Intune, and PowerShell. This role is pivotal in our transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11, ensuring seamless migration, service, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Windows 11 version upgrades: Oversee the migration process to maintain current versions of Windows, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance. Including the Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration.
- Intune Automation Knowledge: Utilize Intune and GraphAPI for device management, analyzing security policies & configurations. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, configuration, reporting, and management tasks. Provide appropriate reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including, networking, server, IT security, business groups and more, to ensure cohesive and efficient product management, incident handling and reporting.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze system performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
- New Projects: Take on new projects as necessary to support the evolving needs of the organization.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Windows certified engineer degree would be great.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on Microsoft Windows environments.
Technical Skills:
- Profound understanding of MS Windows IT infrastructure.
- Expertise in GraphAPI and PowerShell
- Experience with Windows lifecycle management
- Experience with Nexthink, Intune, GitHub, MECM
