Position Title: Solution Architect
Location: Baltimore, MD or Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 plus months with possible extension
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise automation and low-code solutions using UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform. This role will focus on creating scalable technical architectures, solving complex business problems, and collaborating closely with business analysts (BAs), developers, and stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Architecture & Design
Design end-to-end technical architectures for automation and low-code solutions using: UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Robots, AI Center) Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps, Dataverse, Copilot Studio) Define integration strategies with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, databases, APIs). Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Solution Development & Problem Solving
Translate business requirements into technical designs and automation workflows. Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation across departments. Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with Business Analysts to understand business needs and define solution scope. Guide developers in implementing technical designs and best practices. Present architecture designs and roadmaps to senior stakeholders and technical teams.
Governance & Documentation
Develop and maintain architecture documentation, solution blueprints, and technical standards. Establish governance models for automation lifecycle management and change control. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or technical design roles.
- Hands-on experience with: UiPath and Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps, Dataverse, Copilot Studio)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, cloud architecture (Azure preferred), and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with HPE Operations Orchestration (HPOO) is a huge plus
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- UiPath and Power Platform certifications.
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Power BI, or other Microsoft ecosystem tools.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and automation in IT operations.
- Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
