Job Details

The selected candidate will design, direct, review, implement, improve, engineer, and cable (network/voice). The selected candidate will work with vendors to develop and implement solutions, develop policies and guidelines, troubleshoot major/minor network failures, analyze network capacity, manage vendor relationships, support agreements, and validate network billing related to all aspects of the network based on Network and Telecommunications standards and best practices.

Experience in network engineering to include analysis of network requirements, performance for a large-scale network. Experience in data and telecommunications to include installing, testing, and inspecting deployed data communications systems. Experience installing, migrating, and supporting critical, multi-site networks a plus.

The selected candidate will coordinate and interact with multiple vendors for problem resolution and diagnosing networking issues. Knowledge of wireline and wireless communications technologies and standards, including fiber optics, T1, DS-3, MPLS, cellular / 5G, CDMA, TDMA, VoIP, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, IP networking concepts (subnetting, routing).

The selected candidate will manage all phases of network installation and administration; to research and document communications technologies, topologies, and trends. The selected candidate should be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with internal and external customers. Proficiency using MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. With an excellent working knowledge of LAN, WAN, WAP, Cradle Point / NetCloud, and cabling standards.
The hourly range for roles of this nature is $40 to $50/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location and industry.
