We are hiring for Computer Support Technician to support our client.
Company Name: - JTSi (Johnson Technology Systems, Inc.)
Title: - Computer Support Technician
Location: St Paul, MN (onsite)
Duration: 3 years
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Citizenship: US Person
Technical Duties:
- Manage networked systems for data, voice, and video transmission.
- Ensure system security through policies and tools.
- Provide IT customer support (installation, configuration, troubleshooting, inventory management, training).
- Assist in configuring and maintaining networked systems.
- Support office intranet/internet sites (e.g., converting content, checking links, fixing errors).
- Contribute to planning and coordination of litigation support and case management services.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Principles and practices for integrating and administering computer systems.
- Knowledge of performance tuning tools, database management, and project management.
- Understanding of operating systems, associated devices, and system interoperability for installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems, recover systems, and minimize service interruptions.
Qualifications:
Education: Post-high school education required
- Sufficient experience, education, training, and skills to perform the SOW tasks.
- Specialized experience in IT or related fields.
- Attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- IT certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
- Personnel must pass DOJ background checks
- Must meet DOJ Residency Requirements (lived in U.S. 3 of past 5 years)
- No access to DOJ IT systems for non-U.S. citizens (unless a waiver is granted)
