Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–8 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server (2012/2014/2016/2019+)
- Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
- Proficiency in backup and recovery strategies
- Working knowledge of SQL Server security and access controls
- Experience with HA/DR solutions (Always On, Log Shipping, Replication)
- Ability to write and optimize T-SQL queries
- Familiarity with Windows Server environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL Server upgrades and cloud migrations
- Exposure to Azure SQL / SQL Managed Instance
- PowerShell scripting for automation
- SQL Server certifications
