Job description:
- The Enterprise Information Security Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise security architecture, ensuring alignment between business processes, applications, data, and technology.
- This role collaborates with process owners, IT leaders, and technical teams to provide strategic security direction, establish standards, and guide secure solution development.
- The position also oversees technical decision-making related to security technologies and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop enterprise security architecture deliverables and standards across applications, data, and infrastructure.
- Lead and contribute to projects involving business analysts, engineers, and specialists.
- Evaluate and integrate security requirements across multiple platforms and organizations.
- Set security technology strategy and guide development of enterprise security solutions.
- Review system and code designs for security risks and enforce secure development practices.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and support remediation efforts.
- Provide technical direction to ensure security architecture supports business needs.
- Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in IT or related field; advanced degree or MIS certification preferred.
- Strong experience in security architecture, including application, infrastructure, and identity security.
- Hands-on experience in code review, application security assessments, SSL, encryption, and SDLC.
- Demonstrated understanding of OWASP Top 10, vulnerability remediation, and security testing.
- Experience with relevant programming languages (C, C++, Python, Ruby).
Additional Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of management experience preferred.
- Experience in regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of TOGAF, AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Audit), and security principles.
