Job description:

  • The Enterprise Information Security Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise security architecture, ensuring alignment between business processes, applications, data, and technology.
  • This role collaborates with process owners, IT leaders, and technical teams to provide strategic security direction, establish standards, and guide secure solution development.
  • The position also oversees technical decision-making related to security technologies and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop enterprise security architecture deliverables and standards across applications, data, and infrastructure.
  • Lead and contribute to projects involving business analysts, engineers, and specialists.
  • Evaluate and integrate security requirements across multiple platforms and organizations.
  • Set security technology strategy and guide development of enterprise security solutions.
  • Review system and code designs for security risks and enforce secure development practices.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and support remediation efforts.
  • Provide technical direction to ensure security architecture supports business needs.
  • Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in IT or related field; advanced degree or MIS certification preferred.
  • Strong experience in security architecture, including application, infrastructure, and identity security.
  • Hands-on experience in code review, application security assessments, SSL, encryption, and SDLC.
  • Demonstrated understanding of OWASP Top 10, vulnerability remediation, and security testing.
  • Experience with relevant programming languages (C, C++, Python, Ruby).

Additional Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years of management experience preferred.
  • Experience in regulated environments.
  • Strong knowledge of TOGAF, AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Audit), and security principles.
