DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

The DevOps Engineer will:

• Drive pipeline automation, code deployment, and policy-as-code initiatives.
• Ensure code quality, standards, and Sonar scan remediation.
• Manage infrastructure and vulnerability aspects.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, including writing and optimizing Groovy scripts.
• Collaborate with Enterprise DevOps and Development teams to align and enforce policy-as-code standards.
• Manage deployments using IBM UrbanCode Deploy (uDeploy) configuration, troubleshooting, and rollout strategies.
• Develop and maintain batch scripts, Python automation, and manifest files for provisioning and deployment.
• Lead Python-based deployment strategies, including packaging and environment management.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance DevOps processes for reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
• Document configurations and best practices for knowledge sharing.
• Support and execute change requests.
• Collaborate on infrastructure vulnerability management with enterprise and run the bank teams.

Sought-After Skills MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience
• Strong proficiency in Jenkins (including Groovy scripting and Sonar remediation)
• Experience implementing policy-as-code frameworks (preferred)
• Hands-on exposure with uDeploy, batch scripting, and manifest management
• 5+ years of experience with Bitbucket, Git commands, and version control
• Exposure to Python and writing unit tests
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
• Nice to have: Ansible, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), secrets management, access control, vulnerability scanning
