Job Details
Our Manufacturing Operations planning team breaks down the released engineering and develops the work instructions (planning), tooling requirements, and implementing changes to our existing and future products.
What you'll be doing as a Manufacturing Operations Planner
- Incorporate changes to Engineering using systems, Policies and Procedures, and coordinating the changes with our Change Group and Manufacturing Customers.
- Utilize CAD systems to analyze the need for tooling and participate in the design and evaluation process to produce our aircraft assemblies.
- Provide timely support to our factory floor to ensure timely and accurate changes to released production orders.
- Reconcile Engineering Bill of Material with the Manufacturing Bill of Material to ensure BOM consumption and reconciliation of errors.
- Work with Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering to ensure an efficient and repeatable build sequence for Major Assemblies
- Demonstrate general understanding of assembly processes and tool index requirements.
Provide responsive liaison support to the factory floor.
Ops Specialist positions are primarily responsible for, but not limited to, providing problem solving of routine tasks impacting redline support, root cause corrective action, tooling and process improvements to the manufacturing operations.
Skills You Bring To this Role:
- Skilled user in ERP software - Prefer 3DX (Dassault), PEO (SAP), and SAP;
- Effectively interrogate Blue Prints and Digital Product Definition (CAD, GD&T, etc.).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling methodologies, and aircraft assembly
MRB experience
- 3-5 years of experience in areas of Production/ Manufacturing Planning, with undergraduate degree in relevant discipline highly preferred.
