Job Details
Job Title: Technical Support Specialist II (Tier 2)
Location: Dulles, VA (On-site across multiple MWAA locations)
Shift: Wednesday Saturday, 12:00 PM 10:30 PM (Flexibility required)
Clearance/Certifications: A+ certification required Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to internal and external users
- Perform complex troubleshooting of hardware, software, and basic networking issues
- Coordinate issue resolution with third-party providers (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, CBP, Airline DCS support, etc.)
- Assist with PC refreshes, including installation, configuration, and deployment
- Track and analyze logs for system performance and issue resolution
- Deliver training and product demonstrations to end-users as needed
- Adhere to IT SOPs and document all issues in the ticketing system
- Use Excel for formatting, formulas, and basic data management
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of progressive technical support experience
- CompTIA A+ certification (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on experience with ticketing systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and formatting)
- Ability to lift/move equipment and climb under/around desks as needed
- Must have reliable transportation work will rotate
