Job Details
Role : Oracle DBA
Location : Washington DC -Hybrid
Client :Federal Client
Exp: 10+ years
Better to look local or Virginia, Maryland , Pennsylvania , Delaware, Washington (Sometimes final round F2F)
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c/21c)
- Perform database administration activities including user management, tablespace management, and storage optimization
- Monitor database performance and tune SQL queries using AWR, ASH, ADDM, OEM
- Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN
- Handle database cloning, refreshes, and migrations
- Perform patching, PSU/CPU upgrades, and version upgrades
- Strong experience with Oracle Architecture and Internals
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard
- Expertise in RMAN, ASM, OEM, SQL*Plus
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge
- Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Knowledge of Shell scripting
