Our client, a global leader in diagnostics and life sciences, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team in Branchburg, NJ.
Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension & Conversion)
Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will provide essential administrative support to the Maintenance Department at a manufacturing facility. This role is key in managing documentation, supporting inventory operations, and ensuring smooth day-to-day departmental functioning through accurate data entry and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Maintenance Department in daily administrative tasks.
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP) for transaction processing.
- Organize, file, and maintain records of completed maintenance tasks and forms.
- Scan and archive completed work orders and preventive maintenance documentation.
- Assist with spare parts inventory management and reordering processes.
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree or completion of a technical program (Preferred).
- 1 2 years of experience working in a Maintenance Department within a manufacturing facility (preferred).
Additional Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey Driver s License.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
