Windows Automation Engineer

Role is for local candidates only to work hybrid model min 2 days per week at one of the following locations: St. Petersburg FL, NYC, Memphis TN, Southfield MI, and Denver CO.

• Need experience with PowerShell scripting, Windows Forms, inTune and enterprise level SW deployment projects
• experience with Tanium is a value add. Also need experience with PowerShell, Jenkins and SNOW exposure is a plus

Duties:

• Maintain and improve custom software distribution and management systems to meet security and compliance standards with optimal performance.
• Analyzes system data, creates and maintains reporting for key metrics to ensure environment and compliance health.
• Obtains and evaluates information on factors such as reporting formats required, and security needs to determine software and hardware configuration.
• Supports and manages custom application deployment solutions and re-occurring update process.
• Identifies onboarding and offboarding gaps and creates solutions to address.
• Supports Enterprise Browser security policies, troubleshoots issues to find root cause on Windows based systems.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Knowledge of the following mandatory:

• PowerShell expert
• Experience in programmatically reporting, by connecting to multiple systems leveraging API s and sanitizing/normalizing data for actionable tasks.
• CICD pipeline knowledge
• Automating with Tanium or other system management products.
• Reporting and metric presentation

Knowledge of the following is strongly preferred:

• • Expert in Windows Workstation Operating Systems.
  • Application packaging and deployment
  • Security best practices for Windows-based systems CIS benchmarks
  • Basic IP network design practices and principles.
  • System monitoring and event analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Other, assigned area knowledge and systems.

Education:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or related degree and five (5) years of relevant experience in assigned area or combination or education, experience and training equaling 5+ years at the Enterprise level.
