Title: Project Manager - IT Asset Manager / Supply Chain
Location: Fremont California / Hybrid / 3-Days Onsite

Summary:
This role is responsible for optimizing the life cycle management of IT costs, risk and value through asset selection, operation, refresh, migration, optimization, retirement and disposal worldwide. The IT Asset Manager is responsible for the governance of and reporting on this life cycle, improving processes to establish efficiency.
We are seeking a Project Manager to join a team of Project and Program management professionals supporting the IT Supply Chain team. As a key member of this team, you will be accountable for analyzing complex business problems across multiple supply chain pillars, coordinating with internal and cross-functional partners to define and support complex projects and programs, and develop efficient solutions using various tools and systems.
In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of the business s processes and operations, and your expertise in project and program management to drive initiatives from scoping through execution. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams (XFN) including operations, process engineering, procurement, compliance, and sourcing within the supply chain organization to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance the overall customer experience and service efficiency. Your work will involve close collaboration with other teams such as Helpdesk Enterprise Products, Collaboration Technology, Exec Support, New Hire Orientation, sourcing teams. In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of IT supply chain in the High Tech industry.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze data as needed to make data-driven recommendations and decisions, putting meaningful effort into making sure each Project, Program, and Initiative has a measurable impact on the business, including scoping and implementing data collection where necessary to support these goals.
- Drive transformative initiatives from the front by partnering with key stakeholders to guide them - from ideation to completion - through complex, highly interdependent projects/programs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and teams to understand business needs, conducting deep analysis to translate those needs into recommendations and system requirements.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams and collaborate with best practices to ensure end-to-end process and tool consistency, driving innovation and improvement in customer satisfaction.
- Analyze business requirements and develop technical solutions to meet customer support needs, including driving the design and implementation of data models, reports, and dashboards to support organization metrics and KPIs.
- Use data to define KPI and success criteria for projects/initiatives, measure the current state, and track key indicators to drive improvement, ensuring data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for Enterprise Supply Chain processes and systems, organize and manage the troubleshooting of technical issues, providing timely updates to the business to ensure minimal impact on operations.
- Ensure that appropriate resources (people, tools, services) and processes are in place to gather and analyze data relating to digital technology asset life cycles and related processes.
- Assist the leadership in developing effective ITAM strategies, policy, approaches and practices across the full range of digital technology assets used within the organization.
- Identify and report on breaches of ITAM policy and track remedial action.
- Report on remediation of IT asset-related risks and progress of optimization activity.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting, and that data completeness and quality issues are quickly identified and escalated to the responsible data or process owners.
- Gather data from and provide analysis of all activities that have an impact on the value, cost and risk of IT asset life cycles.
- Ensure that ITAM-related tools and services are properly implemented, configured and maintained, with appropriate integration with other sources of organizational data.
- Drive continuous improvement om data quality and process effectiveness
- Work with best in class partners to implement a comprehensive ITAM program across the client globally.
- Coordinate with, hardware asset management (HAM) suppliers and ensure acquisition processes (including those of external service providers) are conducted in line with applicable standards and company guidelines.
- Create and distribute new management reports as needed by the organization.
- Maintain ITAM process documentation.
- Monitor system interfaces and scheduled imports, reports, and exports; resolve errors and exceptions.
- Maintain competence in ITAM industry practices and technologies, compare against the organization, and make recommendations and changes accordingly as part of a cycle of continuous improvement.
- Additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, etc.)
- Experience in data analysis tools such as SQL and Tableau.
- Proven experience in business systems analysis or a related role.
- Deep understanding of how to deal with internal customers within a High Tech company.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with XFN teams and stakeholders.
- Understanding of business systems and technical problem-solving.
- Certification in business systems analysis or a related field (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, etc.).
- Project management certification (PMP, etc.) Nice to have
- Experience working in a supply chain operations environment.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, etc.).
- Experience building and deploying systems/processes at scale
- 3 years of experience with IT, enterprise asset management or information management
- Experience leading system or tool implementations with responsibility for verifying capabilities, outputs, dependencies and implementation scope
- 5 years of experience in managing external IT service providers handling digital technology assets
- Project Management in ITAM.
- Tertiary qualifications in financial accounting, data analysis are preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of related work experience in project management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Ability to manage a high volume of details with excellent accuracy.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Conflict resolution and problem solving techniques.
- Prior ITAM roles (hardware or software) or demonstrable experience of working with IT asset management professionals to deliver ITAM capability and improved business outcomes
