Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to support the development, enhancement, and optimization of healthcare-related systems.
  • This role requires expertise in business analysis, user research, and data modeling, with a focus on the Long-Term Care (LTC) sector.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in the public sector and healthcare industry, particularly with clinical, inspection, and licensing data, as well as a deep understanding of service design methodologies and digital service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Analysis And Solution XXgn:

  • Lead and conduct business analysis at varying levels of detail, aligning with Government Unified Project Candidateagement Methodology, Agile systems, and Digital Service XXgn Lifecycle.
  • Perform comprehensive user research (interviews, card sorting, empathy mapping) to assess business problems and create technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships and provide ongoing I&IT advice for improvements.
  • Prepare detailed documentation to support Client and Alpha phases, including journey maps, personas, user stories, etc.
  • Provide expert guidance on business analysis policies, processes, best practices, and standards.
  • Analyze defects and collaboXX with relevant parties to resolve issues.

Relationship Candidateagement And Collaboration:

  • CollaboXX with subject matter experts, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define and document business requirements and user needs.
  • Facilitate and lead working groups to assess current business problems, defects, improvements, and minor enhancements.
  • Ensure effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to align business goals with IT solutions.
  • Liaise with development, Quality Assurance, and vendor teams to support project implementation.
  • Support change management efforts and assist in the development of training materials.

Business Knowledge And Data Modeling:

  • Conduct business modeling, use case modeling, and data modeling (conceptual and logical) for assigned projects.
  • Analyze business transformation needs, new business development, and acquired solutions.
  • Work on defining business rules and non-functional requirements for healthcare systems.
  • Support data migration efforts and ensure adherence to personal health information protection legislative requirements.
  • CollaboXX on cloud-based technology implementations.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5+ years in business analysis, particularly in the healthcare industry with systems like Long-Term Care, Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), Hospital Information.
  • Experience working with clinical, inspections, and licensing data necessary to support the Long-Term Care sector.
  • Proven expertise in creating and analyzing business requirements, business modeling, and process design.
  • DemonstXXd experience in re-engineering/lean concepts and applying them for business improvements.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and service design principles (Service XXgn Playbook, Digital Service Standard).
Skills:
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of data quality, access, and de-identification best practices.
  • Ability to collaboXX with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and collaborative tools such as Miro.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of public sector processes and healthcare-related regulatory standards.
  • Experience in managing relationships with various stakeholders and clients.

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of and experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with healthcare-specific technology and digital service design frameworks.
  • Experience with the implementation of new systems in the healthcare sector.
