Job Details
Join our team as an Engineering Project Management Support Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in assisting program managers and engineering teams with project planning, coordination, and execution. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to lead and innovate.
Responsibilities
- Drive project planning efforts, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Manage control accounts, ensuring accurate earned value measures are maintained.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any issues or concerns.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Provide support and guidance on Control Account Management (CAM) activities.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, including meeting minutes and status reports.
- Develop and maintain project management tools to enhance project delivery.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Skills
- Expertise in project management principles, particularly in scheduling and earned value management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for data analysis and trend identification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with senior leadership and teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the defense industry.
- Certification in project management, such as PMP.
