Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Linux System Administrator with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Linux systems administration and 3 years of Perforce (Helix Core) administration experience. The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly using Terraform, to support our growing infrastructure and DevOps initiatives.

responsibilities:
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Ubuntu Linux systems in production and development environments.
- Administer and manage Perforce (Helix Core) version control, Swarm code review systems, including user management, service configuration via SDP, Helix authentication service (HAS), replication, backups, disaster recovery, and upgrades.
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools, primarily Terraform.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and security of Perforce, Swarm, and Linux OS.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize Perforce performance for users and build farms.
- Automate routine system administration tasks using shell scripts and/or configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
- Document procedures, configurations, and system architectures for internal knowledge sharing and auditing purposes.
qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Linux systems administration experience in production environments.
- At least 3 years of experience administering Perforce (Helix Core) in multi-user, multi-site environments.
- Proficiency with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
- Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
- Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

- Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, NFS, and related Linux services.
- Experience integrating Perforce with build systems or CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools.
