Title: US Payroll Manager with Workday
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Type: Contract

Our client is seeking a US Payroll Manager who will serve as single point-of-contact for end users after Power Users have assisted end users.

This is a US Senior Payroll Operations role who has accountability for U.S. payroll end-to-end operations, including payroll processes and procedures, SOX controls, and consistent and accurate payroll execution.

Skills required include: US Payroll Manager, Workday or US Kronos experience, MS Office, Excel, and Payroll Tax filing. This role requires on-site work 4 days per week.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Performs problem identification and on-the-spot training to prevent problem reoccurrence and knowledge transfer.
  • Escalates Tier 2 problems to appropriate support (e.g., technical experts or process experts).
  • Maintains history reports, identifies and addresses re-occurring problems, and assists in the development and execution of Workday and business process best practices across the organization.
  • Performs basic fixes and data maintenance.
  • May develop on-line help and update systems support help scripts.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically has 1 - 3 years of Workday or UKG Kronos experience.
  • Experience working as a US Payroll manager.
  • Experience with Multi State TAX, Calculation of Overtime, and Quarterly Bonus.
  • Familiarity with Time Entry.
  • CPP certification is nice to have.
  • Payroll tax and filing experience is also a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Payroll experience required.
  • Experience with MS Office and Excel is a must.
  • Required to be on site 4 days per week.
