Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Solutions Engineer. Senior. Evangelizing the Akamai technical products and services; Strategizing alongside customers as they implement more agile, secure, and identity-centric security models; Owning, shaping, and running proof-of concepts, beta programs, and pre-sales activities with customers and partner teams; Engaging in architecture discovery and configuring software; Consulting with partners to develop solutions to complex challenges; Educating pre-sales team members on the technical aspects of ETG products to strengthen sales strategies; and Aiding in product roadmap formation and ensuring the inclusion of business priorities and requirements for customers. 25% domestic travel required. Required Qualification:

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role. Must have Two (2) years of experience with the following: cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; Network protocols such as HTTP/HTTPs, TCP, IP, DNS, SAML, or Kerberos; Network security technologies such as zero trust, segmentation, network access control, VPN, IAM, or firewalls; and applications such as Visio, GNS3,Omnigraffle, Wireshare, or TCPdump.

Alternately, employer will accept Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications, plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role. Must have Two (2) years of experience with the following: cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; Network protocols such as HTTP/HTTPs, TCP, IP, DNS, SAML, or Kerberos; Network security technologies such as zero trust, segmentation, network access control, VPN, IAM, or firewalls; and applications such as Visio, GNS3,Omnigraffle, Wireshare, or TCPdump.

Compensation:
\n
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges
from $155314 - $226100/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.

The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
