As a
Problem Management Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of IT systems and data. You'll coordinate IT support activities for major systems and subsystems, analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and identify gaps to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities- Analyze and trend data related to IT issues.
- Collaborate with industry-leading IT professionals on various projects.
- Design or modify business processes and implement corresponding IT solutions.
- Contribute to report distribution and enforce IT standards.
- Manage problems across Innovation & Support teams.
Basic Qualifications- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Application Technical Support.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Network Support.
Preferred Qualifications- Certifications: MCSE, MCSA, ITIL.
- Experience with project management workflows.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- 2+ years of experience in Application Technical Support.
- 1+ year of experience in Reporting and Analysis.
- Strong technical writing skills (a plus).
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI layers).
- Strong communication and questioning skills.
- Ability to lead and drive discussions on calls, including post-mortem and outage reviews.
- Familiarity with NOC/Incident Management processes.
- Tools: ServiceNow (problem management records), Jira (project tracking), Slack, Google Suite.
- Knowledge of Windows environments and VPNs.
Key Attributes- Analytical mindset: "What happened? Why did it happen? How do we prevent it?"
- Comfortable conducting post-mortem interviews and leading follow-up calls.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
