Job Title: Sr. Manager Sales (Lead Generation Specialist)

Summary:
The Sr. Sales manager is a strategic and operational lead position responsible for building, managing, and
scaling the sales & inside sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets. This role involves developing
and implementing effective sales strategies, optimizing sales processes, coaching and mentoring the sales
team, and collaborating with other departments to drive overall business growth. The ideal candidate will be a
results-oriented individual with a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and a deep
understanding of modern sales methodologies and technologies.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Align with organizational growth and sales strategy
Participate in developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the
company's overall sales and business objectives.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the inside sales team, such as
conversion rates, average deal size, sales cycle length, and customer acquisition cost.
Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in sales.
Team Management and Development:
Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new sales representatives.
Coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Identify training needs and implement development programs to enhance the skills and
knowledge of the team.
Sales Process Optimization:
Refine inside sales processes, playbooks, and scripts to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage CRM and other sales enablement tools to streamline workflows and improve data
accuracy.
Work closely with marketing to ensure effective lead generation and qualification processes.
Collaborate with sales operations to optimize reporting, forecasting, and sales analytics.
Manage specific focussed campaigns / sales flows
One-on-one reach to high potential prospects
Performance Management and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze individual and team sales performance against targets.
Prepare regular sales reports and present findings to senior management.
Identify and address performance gaps proactively.
Develop and implement incentive programs to drive sales performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a consistent and
positive customer experience.
Provide feedback from the inside sales team to other departments to inform product
development and marketing strategies.
Participate in strategic planning meetings and contribute to overall business strategy.
Technology Adoption and Implementation:
Evaluate and recommend new sales technologies and tools to enhance team productivity and
effectiveness.
Oversee the implementation and adoption of new technologies within the sales team(s).
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the inside sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree
preferred.
10 years of progressive experience in sales, with a significant portion in inside sales.
3 years of experience in managing and leading inside sales teams with a proven track record of
achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Deep understanding of inside sales methodologies, best practices, and technologies.
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales enablement tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven
decisions.
