Overview
BigBear.ai is seeking a System Administrator to support mission critical application and systems in support of multiple Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) projects. The selected candidate will serve in a System Administrator role to keep the system operational, compliant and perform trouble shooting as needed. The position will be a hybrid role in Hanover, MD.

BigBear.ai is seeking a System Administrator to support mission critical application and systems in support of multiple Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) projects. The selected candidate will serve in a System Administrator role to keep the system operational, compliant and perform trouble shooting as needed. The position will be a hybrid role in Hanover, MD.
What you will do
- Ensure system operational compliance and perform troubleshooting as needed.
- Engage in program management, mission support, software integration, development, system engineering, migration, testing, and documentation.
- Monitor networks and systems, manage configuration control, and handle release management.
What you need to have
- 10 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (4 additional years of experience may substitute).
- Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
- DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher (if applicable).
- In-depth understanding of RedHat Linux 8 and above, and Win10/Win11
What we'd like you to have
- Familiarity with AWS/eVo, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CM, monitoring, version control, and infrastructure deployment tools.
- Ability to perform system startup & shutdown, vulnerability scans, and patch management on Linux and Windows.
- Skilled in creating/updating documentation and diagrams (System Security Plans, Security CONOPS, FAQs, How To's).
- Maintain current documentation with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills for multitasking and prioritization
