Your Opportunity:

A co-op at Boston Scientific...
  • Researches, develops, designs, and evaluates materials, components, assemblies, processes, and/or equipment
  • Works "hands-on" in performing testing, troubleshooting, and prototype assembly for new products and technologies
  • Utilizes CAD/Solidworks as required while completing assignments
  • Designs, coordinates, and executes engineering tests and experiments
  • Performs basic statistical analyses as necessary
  • Maintains detailed documentation throughout all phases of research and development
  • Gathers and provides technical data for technical reviews
  • Contributes or prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate results to the technical community
  • Contributes ideas to or generates Intellectual Property submissions
  • Works cooperatively and collaboratively with peers, engineering personnel, technicians, and management
  • Provides material testing support and analysis

Required Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering
  • BS students must be graduating in December 2025 or May 2026
  • Must be able to commit to program dates July 7 - December 12th, 2025
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous internships or research experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $ to $, plus variable compensation governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
