Job Details

Piper Companies is seeking a Financial Reporting and Data Analyst to join an established Investment Management company located in Wayne, PA . This position is HYBRID, and requires you to be onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This role involves analyzing and interpreting financial data to support strategic decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Responsibilities of the Financial Reporting and Data Analyst:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data from multiple sources to support business decisions.
  • Build and maintain financial models to forecast performance and evaluate business scenarios.
  • Collaborate with finance leads to contextualize data and prepare presentations for senior leadership.
  • Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend process or performance improvements.
  • Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses to support internal stakeholders.

Qualifications of the Financial Reporting and Data Analyst:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial services; CPA progress or public accounting experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and FP&A processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; experience with tools like Tableau, Anaplan, or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams.

Compensation for the Financial Reporting and Data Analyst:

Salary: $60,000-$75,000
