We re seeking a seasoned Salesforce Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a 10-week contract engagement, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
My Client is focused on the data side and looking for a deep Salesforce expert to help assess the functional side (Sales, Marketing, Analytics).
About the Role: We re seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Salesforce SME Consultant to lead the evaluation and optimization of our clients Salesforce environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex data challenges, designing scalable solutions, and crafting roadmaps that drive business transformation. An ideal candidate should have experience working for a large consulting firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Assessment & Strategy
Conduct comprehensive functional reviews of existing Salesforce implementations
Analyze current Salesforce footprint to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities
Evaluate the potential impact of new Salesforce features based on the current data architecture
Data Optimization & Solution Design
Identify and address data-related challenges that hinder Salesforce functionality
Perform market scans to recommend innovative tools and solutions
Conduct functional gap analyses and assess implications for business operations
Roadmap Development
Assess organizational capabilities and align Salesforce strategy with business goals
Develop a future-focused Salesforce roadmap tailored to client objectives
Create a data and architectural roadmap with clear recommendations for achieving the desired future state
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Salesforce consulting, architecture, or functional analysis
Strong understanding of data structures, integration, and CRM optimization
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate technical insights into actionable business strategies
