Workday SCM and Financials Consultant
Location: Bay Area, CA (Hybrid) OR Open for Remote
Duration: 3+ Months Contract
Description:
- We are looking for two people with Workday experience that can walk through the current state of their Supply Chain and Finance business processes, and configure Workday to meet their simplified processes.
- We are currently building a best-practices installation in Workday and the complexities of the hospital are not appropriate for their needs.
- We are looking for resources to understand their processes and either build new, or simplify the configuration for their needs.
- Basically need strong hands on Workday resources who know the SCM and Financials modules who can assess their current set up, implement best practices and execute on the appropriate configurations.
Core Skill Sets Needed
- Workday Configuration Expertise
- Deep hands-on experience configuring Workday Supply Chain and Finance modules
- Ability to tailor Workday setups to simplified, non-hospital-specific workflows
- Experience with Workday best practices and clean implementations
- Business Process Analysis
- Strong skills in current-state assessment of Supply Chain and Finance processes
- Ability to map and document workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose streamlined solutions
- Experience working with surgery centers or ambulatory care settings is a plus
- Solution Design & Implementation
- Ability to design and build new configurations or simplify existing ones to meet client-specific needs
- Experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, and translating business needs into Workday functionality
- Healthcare Industry Experience (Preferred)
- Familiarity with hospital vs. surgery center operational differences
- Understanding of healthcare supply chain and finance nuances, especially in smaller or specialized entities
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with client teams
- Ability to guide non-technical stakeholders through system capabilities and limitations
