As an Account Executive at CCS, you will:

  • Employ various client acquisition methods such as social selling, relationship-building, and lead generation to attract new business.
  • Identify and capitalize on new and repeat business opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Foster relationships with key decision-makers, particularly at the IT Director and C-suite levels.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of CCS's brand recognition among prospects, clients, and top-tier manufacturers.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of CCS s diverse product portfolio, encompassing consulting services, top-tier manufacturer technologies and managed services.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with strategic manufacturing partners.
  • Attain and uphold industry sales certifications for CCS's top-tier manufacturers.
  • Arrange client meetings to discern business requirements effectively.
  • Evaluate sales opportunities, manage customer expectations, and conduct negotiations proficiently.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers, effectively managing a pipeline of opportunities and providing accurate forecasts.
  • Participate actively in sales meetings and training sessions to refine skills and contribute to departmental expertise.
  • Conduct product and service demonstrations for potential customers.
  • Stay abreast of partner registration programs and incentives.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of purchasing processes, requirements, timelines, and funding sources.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in business-to-business sales, or for newer professionals, a demonstrated trajectory toward sales success with technology-centric, solution-oriented customers.
  • Experience in SLED (State/Local Government, Education) sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Previous roles in a "Sales Hunter" capacity with a strong emphasis on new business acquisition.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence opinions and recommend optimal solutions.
  • A driven individual with a history of consistently achieving and surpassing targets.
  • Customer-focused mindset, adept at initiating, maintaining, and expanding business relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with CCS s Solution Consulting team to present solutions and interpret customer requirements.
  • Proficiency in negotiating contracts, deliverables, and pricing.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office programs and experience with CRM platforms.
