Job Summary:

V2 Innovations Inc is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in test automation, QA methodologies, and CI/CD integration within Agile environments. This position requires hands-on experience in both development and testing, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
  • Design and implement test strategies for complex applications across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting best practices and effective testing methodologies.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements, design, development, and testing.
  • Review and analyze system specifications to ensure test coverage and business requirement alignment.
  • Execute both manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and ensure proper defect tracking and resolution.
  • Perform regression, API, integration, and performance testing as part of release cycles.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new testing tools and technologies to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with distributed teams to ensure consistent quality across global releases.
  • Stay current on QA trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation within testing processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years of professional experience in Software Development and Test Automation.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber, and BDD.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience in API and database testing, including validation of back-end services.
  • Ability to design and build scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and microservice-based applications.
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional environments.
  • Experience in the healthcare domain or regulated industries (HIPAA, PHI) is a plus.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
