Job Details
UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to lead a remote role for the implementation of a customized COTS/new development solution. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, capable of making complex technical decisions, and experienced in leading cross-functional teams across development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor support. This role requires ownership of technical solutions from planning to delivery. Successful candidate will have experience creating customized solutions using .NET programming, CRM Systems, Cloud Platforms and DevOps tools. ***Must reside in EST time zone and have a valid linked in profile.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software development and technical leadership
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or Go
- Minimum 2 years of experience with configuration/customization of MS Dynamics and/or Salesforce CRM
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture; hands-on with Azure or AWS
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban (SAFe preferred)
- Experience with cloud-based SaaS solutions

- Ensure successful technology delivery of a citywide Business Diversity Software implementation
- Design and implement a comprehensive solution using both custom development and COTS solutions
- Perform hands-on tasks such as coding, configuring COTS tools, creating architecture diagrams, building automation pipelines, and implementing system integrations
- Submit technical requests including build of materials, firewall rules, and security changes
- Manage the full development lifecycle: requirements gathering, architecture, development oversight, testing, and deployment
- Ensure compliance with legal, technological, and operational standards
- Provide technical direction and lead the development team in delivering a secure, scalable solution
- Establish and enforce technical standards and quality control practices
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure platform stability
- Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to define scope, goals, and risk mitigation plans
- Maintain strong communication regarding technical details, progress, and risks
- Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance throughout the development lifecycle
