Job Details

Job Title: Bank Teller
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite Only)
Schedule: Monday Friday
Note:
This is an in-person role. Candidates must reside within a commutable, drivable distance to Santa Clara, CA office.

Job Description:
This position provides client support for inquiries including, but not limited to, general bank transactions, operational issues, and/or back-office support. Requests may come through various channels, such as face-to-face interactions, email, phone, or internal business partners.
The ideal candidate should be able to work under moderate supervision and possess a general skill set applicable to the essential functions of the role. This individual should utilize knowledge and available resources to resolve moderately complex issues, escalating more complex or non-routine matters as necessary. The role is accountable for performing assigned functions efficiently while ensuring adherence to all regulations, procedures, and policies.

In-Branch Client Support May Include, But Is Not Limited To:
  • Greeting all branch customers with exceptional customer service and handling reception duties for customers meeting with internal partners
  • Processing deposits/cashing checks
  • Placing holds
  • Completing Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs)
  • Processing payments
  • Fulfilling cashier check requests
  • Performing other common Bank Teller duties
  • Processing courier bags with client cash deposits

Back Office Client Support May Include, But Is Not Limited To:
  • Reviewing inquiries and formulating responses or implementing actions to resolve them. Inquiries may be resolved during initial contact or may require additional research, problem solving, or escalation
  • Processing mail, payments, and check orders
  • Fraud monitoring and escalation
  • Scanning transactions at the end of the day

Relationship Advisor Requests May Include, But Are Not Limited To:
  • Requests for cashier s checks
  • Arranging appointments
  • Account research

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clerical or administrative role

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in banking operations with a customer-focused service approach
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
  • Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently on assigned duties while successfully collaborating within a team-friendly environment
