Has a proven track record in leveraging advanced Salesforce security tools such as Security Center, Optimizer, Connected Apps and conducting regular Org Health Checks to maintain platform integrity and compliance.
Job Responsibilities
Leveraging advanced Salesforce security tools such as Security Center, Optimizer, Connected Apps and conducting regular Org Health Checks to maintain platform integrity and compliance.
Expert in implementing Salesforce security best practices including:
Working knowledge of Okta and Connected Apps configuration
Role Hierarchies and Sharing Rules
Permission Sets and Profiles
Field-Level and Object-Level Security
Session Settings, Login IP Ranges, and MFA
Setup of SSO
OAuth knowledge (bonus)
User Accounts Service Accounts
Experienced in setting up:
Salesforce Security Center for unified visibility and management of orgs
Salesforce Optimizer to assess and improve org performance and security
Health Check Tool to measure org security posture against Salesforce baselines
Governance & Compliance:
Adept at ensuring compliance with internal IT security policies and external regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Supports regular audits and risk assessments.
Collaboration & Communication:
Highly effective in matrixed team environments, collaborating across business units, IT, and security teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of translating technical findings into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional projects with global teams.
