Job Title: Senior UiPath Business Analyst (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid onsite Tuesday through Thursday in the northern suburbs of Chicago (Northfield/Northbrook area)

Duration: 6 months + contract to hire

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UiPath Business Analyst to support automation initiatives by leveraging UiPath s Document Understanding and Agentic AI capabilities. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams to analyze, design, and optimize automated business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze automation requirements
• Design and optimize workflows using UiPath s Document Understanding framework
• Develop business cases and process models to support automation projects
• Partner with RPA developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Leverage UiPath Agentic AI to improve process intelligence and decision automation
• Conduct gap analyses and recommend process enhancements for automation readiness
• Lead workshops, training sessions, and solution demos for business users
• Create comprehensive documentation including PDDs (Process Design Documents) and SDDs (Solution Design Documents)
• Support testing and validation of automation solutions to ensure they meet business objectives
• Monitor automation performance and propose continuous improvement strategies
• Ensure compliance with governance and RPA best practices
• Support enterprise-wide change management, user adoption, and automation scaling efforts

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including 2+ years working on UiPath automation projects
• Proficient in UiPath Document Understanding, including AI/ML-based OCR, taxonomy design, and classification
• Experience with UiPath Agentic AI capabilities
• Skilled in business process modeling tools such as Visio or Signavio
• Ability to break down complex processes into automation-ready workflows
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project delivery methodologies
• Knowledge of UiPath Orchestrator, Studio, Task Capture, and AI Fabric is a plus
• Understanding of data analytics and AI-enhanced automation
• UiPath Business Analyst or related RPA certification preferred
