Title: Production Support Analyst

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Day 1 Onsite)

Please find the client expectation for this role,

  1. Understanding of Data Controls: Familiarity with implementing and managing controls and checks within a large data environment.
  2. SQL Proficiency: Ability to write and execute SQL queries and scripts effectively.
  3. Unix Expertise: Experience in managing files and directories within a Unix operating system.
  4. Market Knowledge: prior experience with market products and trade lifecycles, ideally fixed income then equity products.
  5. Audit Experience: The ideal candidate would have prior audit experience

Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Support Analyst to join our team. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving application/system issues in real time to ensure optimal service availability and performance. The ideal candidate is required to be 4 years to 7 years experienced in managing critical applications in a high-pressure production environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quick incident resolution.

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in production support, application support
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and command-line tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, JIRA, Remedy, etc.
  • Knowledge of job schedulers like Autosys, Control-M, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Nagios, Grafana, etc.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24x7 support environment.
  • Basic scripting skills (Shell, Python, or PowerShell).
  • Experience with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is a plus.
