Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Supply Chain Management. This position requires expertise in analyzing business needs and implementing systems to optimize supply chain processes, such as forecasting, inventory management, and order fulfillment. This is a long-term contract opportunity based in Southern California, offering onsite collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business teams to identify and understand system requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
Lead meetings, facilitate discussions, and document meeting outcomes, including minutes and action items.
Develop detailed specifications, diagrams, and process models to guide developers and project teams.
Conduct peer reviews of business requirements and functional specifications to ensure accuracy and alignment with objectives.
Plan and execute system testing, including creating test plans and user scenarios to validate modifications.
Provide recommendations for system improvements and oversee documentation updates.
Partner with project managers to maintain project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to optimize forecasting, inventory, and shipping processes.
Support cross-functional projects related to vehicle launches and service replacement part supply chain initiatives.
Ensure compliance with supply chain logistics and storage protocols while addressing system integration needs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience in Supply Chain Management, particularly in inventory, shipping, and supplier coordination.
Proficiency in systems such as Oracle or SAP, with knowledge of Blue Yonder being a plus.
Strong analytical skills and ability to create complex business cases, charts, and prototypes.
Effective communication skills, including facilitation of meetings and documentation of outcomes.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ability to work on multiple high-complexity projects.
Experience in system testing, including developing test cases and scenarios.
Ability to travel occasionally, approximately 10% quarterly, to support project needs.
