What you will do:
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of product and documentation requirements
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for intended audiences
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
- Create and maintain the information architecture
What You Will Need To Have:
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, including experience writing software documentation
- Proficiency at writing impeccable content in U.S. English
- Ability to work with product subject matter experts and technical team stakeholders to gather and develop accurate user-friendly documentation within Fiserv standards and guidelines
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and present them clearly in text and graphics
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, SnagIt, and other documentation tools
- Ability to work with limited supervision and translate high-level directives into deliverables
- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Professional Writing, English, Journalism, or Computer Science; or commensurate experience
- Ability to work within time frames to deliver quality documentation
What Would Be Great To Have:
- 5+ years of relevant technical writing experience
- Experience in the financial services or banking industry
- Experience working in Jira as a reference point for source information
