Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with a solid background in full-stack development, API design, and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should bring 10+ years of hands-on experience with a strong emphasis on Spring Boot, microservices architecture, API integration, and containerized deployments. The role also demands team leadership experience and the ability to support solution design in collaboration with architects and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable and secure applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
  • Design and build RESTful APIs, integrate with third-party systems.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and detailed design implementation.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers and perform code reviews.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools to support automated builds and deployments.
  • Collaborate with QA and DevOps to support testing, performance tuning, and production deployments.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and performance best practices are followed in the codebase.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of software development experience with Java/J2EE and modern frameworks.
  • Minimum 3+ years leading development teams or mentoring junior developers.
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and microservices.
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with architectural modeling using tools like UML, C4 Model, Archimate.
  • Solid hands-on experience in cloud-native development (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/OpenShift).
  • CI/CD pipeline experience with tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, JIRA.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes, ELK Stack for eventing and monitoring.
  • Exposure to GraphQL and API management platforms such as IBM API Connect.
  • Hands-on with security frameworks OAuth2, SAML, mTLS, etc.
  • Experience working with IBM technologies like WebSphere, App Connect, DataPower.

Preferred Experience

  • Strong understanding of Automotive OEM domain.s
  • Exposure to application performance monitoring, analytics, and dashboard reporting.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases and modern data integrations.
  • Familiarity with web UI frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in agile development environments.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and distributed teams.
