Job Details

Amentum is seeking a Wargaming and Simulation SETA with working knowledge and experience exploring and developing solutions for technology transition. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and within dynamic, fast-paced team environments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in wargaming events from planning to post-execution.
  • Compile readiness assessments, lessons learned, objectives, and requirements to design wargames, facilitate wargames resulting in transition scenarios.
  • Facilitate discussions/experiments to ensure transition solutions are defendable.
  • Utilize knowledge of wargaming best practices and protocols from prior experience, as well as utilizing knowledge to implement simulation tools to inform the wargames.
  • Interface with a wide-range of audiences including internal and external Government and Military leadership and stakeholders across all Services, including through written, verbal, and presented communications.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of a BS or BA in technical or management discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience
  • Strong technical background in areas such as engineering, technology development or scientific research
  • Must have an active TS/SCI US Government Clearance. Please note that ship is required to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Adobe PDF

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience transitioning technologies to the US Military.
